Young Cancer Patient Fulfills Her Dream Of Being A Real Ballerina

When we’re kids, we spend our days dreaming of what we will be when we grow up. To be honest, even though you might technically consider me a grown-up, I still do the same thing. It’s always nice to have a goal or fantasy to hope for over the horizon, no matter how farfetched it may seem to others.

However, the brutal blow of a cancer diagnosis can make all those hopes seem lost in an instant, especially at such a young age. Those with the bravery to continue following their dreams, like Trinity Faith Moran who walked a Fashion Week runway, not only summons more strength for their difficult battle ahead, but inspire those around them to do the same.At a timewhen no one would blame them for hiding under the covers and wallowing in their pain, they rise above.

The sweet girl below reminds me of another tiny dancer named Olivia, but this cutie takes on a more classicalstyle. Even before her diagnosis two years ago, 6-year-old Connie has wanted to be a ballerina. While undergoing the arduous treatment forlymphoblastic leukemia, she made sure to attend as many of her lessons as possiblethanks to a secret signal she agreed on with her instructor any time she felt too tired to continue.

Now, Connieis nearing the end of her chemotherapy and summoning all herstrength to dance with a few very special partners from the English National Ballet. It’s so amazing to see such determination to overcome hardship.

Take a look, and be sure to SHARE the incredible moment with your loved ones!
