The athlete’s boyfriend, Stacey Ervin Jr., alluded to the entire ongoing drama in an Instagram Stories post he made just hours after news broke of Tevin Biles‘ arrest in connection with a triple homicide. The post, which the young man made on Friday, showed off an inspirational quote alluding to tough times (below):
“The strongest people I’ve ever met have not been given an easier life. They’ve learned to create strength and happiness from dark places.”
